Great place for beginner horses and riders. Campsites are very large and hitching posts were very well taken care of. There is not a lot of mileage but the trails are very pretty and relaxing. We will definitely come back.

Easy mostly flat trails that are generally two to three horse wide. Not rocky so good for barefoot riding. Very nice scenery, old trees with some meadows. Camp ground has big wide campsites with electricity and a shower house. Really nice campground.

You can get a good 14 miles out of this place wihout seeing the same trail twice. Most of it is under tree canopy so it is good riding when the sun is blazing.

potato is a really nice small milage park, with a large camp. it is a nice place to go for A week end, but what I dont like about it is, the barb wire fence on both sides of the new trail, along the lane. I wish they would take it down and use sometting else. If a rider or horse ever got hung up in that barb wire and woven wire, not to mention, getting impailed on one of the steel fence post, it would be a sorry mess and probibly A fatal accident for eather or both horse and rider. I believe that is trail #2 its the new trail the state put in about 6 years ago. nothing has bad has ever happend in that spot except A few deer get hung up in the barbed wire, but the thought has always sent A shiver up and down my back, thinking about it R.K.

This is a great place for inexperienced horses. Most riders are respectful of other riders and experience levels. Nice wide flat trails for young horses. There were several trailers in parking area but we only ran into three other groups of riders. I would recommend this for any beginner - horse or rider. Or for anyone who wants to be one with nature and not worry to much about "riding" their horse.

This is a great place to go if you don't want a challenge. Took a few beginners here and had a great time. LOVE the shower house! Nice trails as well, not usually muddy. Got caught in a squall and DNR even stopped and checked to make sure we were ok. Very nice folks

Nice riding for young riders or horses. Not alot of miles here. No corrals or picket lines, they have old style hitching posts. Excellent camping area so bring the LQ's along.

Great footing, easy riding for our mixed group of intermediate and inexperienced riders. Lots of room to tie up when you come just for the day.

Great little campground. About 10 miles of easy trails. Some in the woods some in the open. You can wiggle around them to stay out longer. The campground is great, clean, tie rails, electric (bring about 200 feet of cord, some electric outlets are far away). Showerhouse, well patrolled. Nice place for a weekend trip.

Great trail for inexperienced horses and/or riders, very useful for conditioning in the spring. Short trails so not challenging for seasoned trail riders used to larger trail systems. Great showers, great for day rides.
